CERTIFICATION
OF NEW CONSTRUCTIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
Although the activities of HRS in building ships to
its class have been affected by the sufferings of shipbuilding industry
in GREECE, a considerable number of ships have been built new and/or
converted to HRS class. Our Society provides owners with the quality
and quick response they require.
The services offered cover the review and approval of
plans and related studies, the supervision of construction and the inspection
of ships and machinery equipment, not only for ships with conventional
design but also for novel designs and highly specialized craft.
Examples of ships built or modified under HRS supervision
are given below.
The high speed, fully automated ro-ro trailer passenger ferries SUPERFAST
I AND II, built in Germany by Schichau Seebeckwerft, as well as SUPERFAST
III AND IV, built in Finland by Kvaerner Masa Yards, under the plan
appraisal, supervision and classification of both ABS and HRS.
RO-RO Passenger ship ANO HORA II and passenger ships PANTHEON and MENIA
MARIA III built under HRS supervision and classification.
RO-RO passenger ships THASSOS VIII, ACHAIOS and OINOUSSAI under construction,
classified with HRS.
NILE floating hotel CHATEAU LAFAYETTE under construction in Egypt, classified
with HRS.
Oil tankers, floating docks, hydrographic research vessels, offshore
patrol vessels, oil barges, water tankers and landing ships for the
Hellenic Navy.
Patrol boats built for the HELLENIC COAST GUARD.
Small passenger ships and fishing vessels built under our guidance and
supervision.
Several ro-ro ferries such as ACHILLEAS, FIVOS, ATHINA modified under
our supervision.
